This quaint little restaurant is located in the small town of Cala D’hort in San Josep and has a beautiful, relaxed ambience. Es Boldado sits upon a hill above Cala D’hort beach. Being in such proximity to Es Verda, who is said to have healing powers and a magnetism which surrounds it, Es Boldado has a serenity to the it.

Es Boldado serves beautiful seafood along with other Mediterranean style dishes, delicious drinks; both alcoholic and soft, and tasty deserts. As well as seafood, Es Boldado also has a hearty selection of meat and chicken which is often served grilled.

The oven-baked John Dory is a restaurant favourite and arguably one of the best pieces of fish on the island. The paella is also a beautiful dish, cooked to perfection; peppered with chunky seafood such as shrimp and muscles and served in huge portions, this dish is tasty and filling.

With dishes to die for and a wonderful atmosphere, you’ll never want to leave this restaurant. Not to mention the superb service. The restaurant has over been 30 years of experience and all staff are willing to help you with every need; nothing is ever too much.

The restaurant is small and popular which can only mean one thing; it tends to fill up pretty quickly. In the summer, guests like to be seated at a table on the terrace to get the most of the sun and in winter, a table by the long window is the best place to sit as it is less cool and designed to maximise the view.
